We trade from 4th Floor, AMP House, Dingwall Road, Croydon CR0 2LX. For anything in this policy, contact us at info@avc-uk.com or 020 4621 6479. We are the data controller for the personal information described below.
Information you give us
When you complete an enquiry form on this website, on the contact section, a service landing page or an expertise page, we receive the details you choose to provide. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, telephone number, company or property name, project address or postcode, project details and preferences, and any drawings, documents or photographs you upload. Almost all fields are optional; we ask only for a way to respond to you.
Your enquiry is delivered to our project team by email using Resend, a transactional email service, and is not published anywhere. Where the direct-upload facility is active, uploaded files are stored securely on Vercel's file storage at addresses that are not listed or guessable, and are shared only with our project team.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project (our legitimate interest in responding to a request you initiated, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract).
- To prepare quotations, designs and project documentation you have asked for.
- To send occasional engineering guides or company news, only if you have expressly opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- To understand how visitors use the website and improve it, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, only with your consent to analytics cookies.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep the website working. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, and Google advertising measurement to attribute enquiries to our advertising. None of these run until you accept analytics cookies on the cookie banner. If an advertising link brought you here, we may record the campaign reference (such as UTM or click identifiers) with your enquiry so we know which advertising works; this happens within your browser session and is attached only to the enquiry you send. You can change your choice at any time via .
Who we share information with
Trusted service providers who help us operate: Vercel (website hosting and secure file storage), Resend (enquiry email delivery), Google (analytics and advertising measurement, with consent) and Microsoft (analytics, with consent). Each processes information on our behalf under their own safeguards. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
Enquiries and project correspondence are kept as normal business records for as long as they remain relevant to the enquiry, a project or our legal obligations, and are then deleted. Uploaded files are retained only as long as needed for the enquiry or project they support; you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email info@avc-uk.com and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
